About Etobicoke Ringette Association
Etobicoke Ringette — Program Overview
At Etobicoke Ringette, we offer a full range of ringette programs for all ages and skill levels — from first-time skaters to competitive athletes and adult players. We are committed to providing accessible, well-organized programs that focus on inclusion, skill development, and fun.
What We Provide
Learn to Skate
For children age 4 and up who have little or no skating experience. Participants learn balance, safe falling and recovery, gliding, forward and backward skating, turns, and stopping.
FUN-Level Ringette
A multi-tiered program designed to match each child’s skating ability and experience.
FUN 1: For children with basic skating ability, focusing on skating development combined with fun drills and cross-ice ringette games.
FUN 2: For skaters who are comfortable moving forward and backward, stopping, and starting, with continued development in skating and ringette skills.
FUN 3: For confident skaters ready to learn or continue ringette in a more game-based environment.
Competitive / Rep “B” Teams
For players seeking a higher level of competition. We offer “B” level rep teams at U12, U14, and U19 ages, with regular practices, weekend games, league play, and tournament participation.
Provincial “A” Team
For older or more advanced players who compete in a higher-level provincial league structure, with increased commitment in both training and tournament play.
Adult House League
A recreational league for adults of all skill levels, whether returning to the sport or trying ringette for the first time. This league runs weekly and provides a supportive and active environment.
Seasonal and Special Programs
We also offer seasonal opportunities such as Springette, a 3-on-3 spring program that provides additional ice time and gameplay outside the regular season.
What Players Gain
Across all levels, players develop strong skating skills, ringette techniques, teamwork, and game sense. Our programs allow athletes to progress from beginner to advanced levels in a safe, welcoming, and community-focused environment.
