About
FUN 1 is an introductory ringette program for children who already have basic skating skills and want to learn the sport in a fun environment. Participants work on foundational skating skills (gliding, stopping, balance, backwards movement) while learning ringette basics through drills and small-area games.
Skaters are evaluated in the first few sessions and placed into appropriate skill groups. Session time (2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, or 4:00 PM) will be confirmed before the season begins.
Required Equipment:
Full ringette/hockey equipment. First-year players receive a ringette stick and ringette-specific cage.
