Toronto High Park Young Engineers Toronto High Park Young Engineers is a mentor-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) + Intro to Coding & Robotics enrichment program where kids learn by building. In small groups, students design, test, and improve real working models while developing confidence, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and an engineering mindset—through fun, hands-on challenges. We group kids by their age and learning need to support peer learning and leadership: JK & SK Grades 1–3 Grades 4–6 Our program is delivered with a 1:6 instructor-to-student ratio, allowing us to observe how each child learns and tailor the level of challenge and support to their development and learning path. Our instructors live in the same neighbourhoods we teach in—so kids learn with familiar faces, families feel connected, and we’re growing local leadership and mentorship right here in our community. Young Engineers is endorsed by the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and our Toronto High Park program is trusted by schools, teachers, and parents across the neighbourhood for high-quality instruction and meaningful learning outcomes.
