About
Youth Climbing Programs – Boulderz Climbing
Boulderz Climbing’s Youth Programs are designed to inspire, challenge and empower climbers aged 4 to 17. Through structured lessons, fun movement activities and a community atmosphere, these programs help young athletes build physical skills, confidence and an enduring love of climbing.
What participants experience:
Age-appropriate courses such as:
Kinder Rok (ages 4–5): 50-minute sessions focused on balance, coordination and early movement.
Lil Rok (ages 6–10): 90-minute lessons teaching climbing movement, technique and foundational skills.
J Rok (ages 11–17): Two-hour classes that build from earlier skills and introduce safe use of equipment and more advanced movement.
Full-day camps when children want immersive experiences — combining climbing, activities, games, arts & crafts and outdoor time.
Small-group instruction with experienced coaches, rental gear available, and a focus on both fun and technique progression.
Why this works for youth:
Each class is tailored for specific age ranges and ability levels, ensuring kids train in a comfortable, supportive environment.
Young climbers develop agility, coordination, problem-solving, strength and confidence as they progress.
The program is rooted in community — kids train together, make friends, and grow in a space that encourages both personal and athletic development.
Who it’s for:
Young movers who want to stay active, try a unique sport and discover climbing
Kids ready for skill-development in a supportive setting, whether new to climbing or building experience
Families looking for year-round youth programs, camps or recurring sessions in a high-quality climbing facility
