This imaginative course introduces kids to the magic of stop motion animation using Lego, clay, paper cutouts, and everyday objects. Through hands-on storytelling and frame-by-frame filming, participants learn how to bring their ideas to life—one click at a time.
What to Expect
Animation Basics — Kids learn how stop motion works, including storyboarding, scene setup, and frame sequencing.
Creative Set Building — Participants design characters and backdrops using Lego, craft materials, and found objects.
Filming & Editing — Using tablets or cameras, kids capture short animations and explore basic editing techniques to polish their work.
Collaborative Studio Culture — The environment encourages teamwork, experimentation, and playful problem-solving in a relaxed setting.
Program Details
Ages: Typically 7–13 years; no prior animation experience needed.
Class length: Around 90 minutes (e.g., Saturday 1:00–2:30 PM).
