STAR – West Toronto Skating Club (Toronto)

This program supports skaters progressing through STAR 1–3 levels in Skate Canada’s nationally standardized testing system. STAR emphasizes technical development in ice dance, skating skills, free skate, and interpretive skating, with skaters training independently under the guidance of private coaches.

What to Expect

• Skill Development

  • Focus on edge control, spins, jumps, and choreography

  • Skaters prepare for STAR 1–3 tests across multiple disciplines

• Private Coaching Model

  • Skaters must book lessons directly with WTSC coaches

  • Coaching fees are separate from registration

• Off-Ice Training

• Includes strength, flexibility, and movement classes

• Supports injury prevention and performance readiness
