About

The Junior Lifeguard Club is an aquatic skill development program based on personal-best achievement that builds on skills they already have. Junior Lifeguard Club members work to develop and improve their swimming technique and will be introduced to lifesaving sport events. Once they have completed the intro program and received their certificate, members will be able to join the appropriate level based on their age. Supervision: Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16 years. Prerequisites: 50m of front crawl and tread water for one minute (completed YMCA Swim level "Star 1").
