About
Hockey School Program
The Hockey School at Parkdale Flames is an instructional program designed to help young players build strong fundamental skills in a supportive, fun and skill-rich environment. Targeted at players from U8 to U14, the program blends structured practice sessions with mini-game situations to introduce core concepts of skating, puck control, positioning, teamwork and game awareness.
What Players Experience
Focused skill-stations led by trained coaches to enhance skating technique, agility and balance.
Puck-handling, shooting and passing drills tailored by age and ability to ensure all players get the right level of challenge.
Mini-games and structured scrimmages on Sundays to put learned skills into realistic game-scenarios.
A progression path from Saturday instructional sessions through to game-day readiness, enabling players to transition into the Association’s House League or Select programs.
Emphasis on sportsmanship, confidence, enjoyment and the love of the game — not just competition.
Why Choose This Hockey School
