About
Minor Division (Ages 9–10)
The High Park Minor Division is a house league for children aged 9 and 10, designed to help players transition from T-Ball to a more competitive yet supportive baseball environment. It includes eight teams, drafted via spring evaluation workouts, and sequences players into their franchise’s “Major” team when they’re ready.
In the Minor Division, players learn fundamentals like pitching and base stealing, rotate through infield and outfield positions, and play 1–2 games per week. Games last about 2 hours, typically held at 6:00 PM on weekdays, with weekend games in May through August. The league also maintains scores and standings, and conducts playoffs in September (first two rounds best-of-3, finals best-of-5) to crown a division champion.
