Art Classes For Ages 6 to 16

ArtWorks Art School offers weekly studio art programs for children and teens ages 6–15, with classes designed to build creativity, confidence, and strong foundational art skills. Programs run in seasonal sessions from Tuesday through Saturday, with options for different ages and interests. All art materials and supplies are included.

Creative Art Classes

Students explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and occasional 3D projects while learning skills such as composition, colour, technique, and creative problem-solving. Projects are designed to encourage experimentation and help students develop their own artistic style.

Cartooning

A fun class for students who enjoy cartoons, comics, and character design. Students create expressive characters, imaginative scenes, dioramas, and stories while developing drawing skills and their own cartooning style.

Art Portfolio Development

For older students who want to strengthen technical skills and create polished, portfolio-worthy artwork. Students explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and design using materials such as graphite, charcoal, ink, acrylic, watercolour, and pastels. Topics include composition, perspective, proportion, colour theory, observation, and personal expression.

No Session Dates

• Oct 9, Oct 10, and Feb 13

Classes meet on the same day and time each week during the selected session. Registration is final once the program has started, and no refunds or credits are provided after the session begins.
