Silver Blades Skating Club

For over 80 years, Silver Blades Skating Club has been a cornerstone of figure skating in Etobicoke, offering programs for all ages and skill levels. From first-time skaters to synchronized and competitive athletes, we help each person set—and reach—their skating goals.

Who We Are

We are a Skate Canada-sanctioned club with more than 500 annual members. Located at Central Arena in the Kingsway area of Etobicoke, our club culture is rooted in inclusion, excellence, and enjoyment. We believe skating is a journey that can be serious and fun at the same time—where skaters learn to work hard, push their limits, and still remain kids at heart.

What We Offer

Learn-to-Skate Programs for beginners, including Pre-CanSkate and CanSkate classes that build balance, control and agility.
Figure Skating & StarSkate Streams for skaters ready to take technique, performance and competition seriously.
Synchronized Skating Teams, off-ice training, and additional options to keep skaters engaged year-round.
Accredited Coaches certified through Skate Canada who teach group and private lessons, ensuring every skater receives instruction appropriate to their level.
