Primary Jazz & Ballet Our Primary Jazz & Ballet program gives young dancers a balanced introduction to two essential styles — the grace and technique of ballet paired with the energy and rhythm of jazz . This class is perfect for children who want variety and a strong dance foundation in a fun, supportive setting. What to Expect Ballet Foundations — Posture, balance, and classical technique taught through simple barre work, center practice, and graceful movement. Jazz Basics — Upbeat steps, jumps, and turns that build rhythm, coordination, and stage presence. Creative Expression — Students learn short, age-appropriate routines while developing confidence and musicality. Strength & Flexibility — Gentle conditioning and stretching to support safe skill development in both styles. Program Details Age Range: Typically Kindergarten – Grade 1 (around 5–7 years old) Structure: Combination class introducing two styles in one session Season: Runs September through June, culminating in an end-of-year performance
