Junior Ballet

Our Junior Ballet program is crafted for young dancers ready to build on foundational movement and embrace classical ballet training in a supportive and joyful environment. This hour-long class combines technique, artistry, and performance readiness to help students gain strength, grace, and confidence on stage.

What to Expect

Technical Foundations — Students learn classical barre work, center combinations and basic across-the-floor progressions to establish alignment, posture and movement quality.
Musical & Expressive Growth — Emphasis on rhythm, phrasing, and expressive movement so students not only perform the steps, but feel the music and tell a story.
Encouraging Environment — Small class sizes and experienced instructors ensure each dancer receives individualized attention, meaningful correction, and affirmation.
Performance Pathway — Junior Ballet supports dancers who wish to continue their dance journey, building strong technique for future levels and recital opportunities.

Program Details

Designed for children approximately ages 7-9 or by readiness.
Class length: 45 minutes, once per week per term.
Suitable for beginners and those with prior movement experience who are excited to explore ballet as part of a broader dance curriculum.
