CATS Drama School

CATS Drama School delivers a dynamic and inspiring theatre education program for children and youth, ages 3 to 18. The school offers three structured levels—Junior, Intermediate and Senior—each designed to meet students where they are and help them build on their skills through creativity, performance and collaboration.

Junior Level (Ages 3-6)

At the Junior level, young children are introduced to drama through playful exploration of movement, voice, storytelling and imagination. Students engage in drama games, role-play, simple scene work and guided improvisation. The focus is on building comfort in front of an audience, early confidence, listening and cooperation, and discovering the joy of performance in a safe, nurturing environment.

Intermediate Level (Ages 7-11)

The Intermediate level expands the creative toolkit: students work more deeply on character development, scene work, ensemble collaboration and performance preparation. They learn fundamentals of acting, stage presence, voice and movement, and begin to explore scripting, rehearsal process, and live sharing. This level encourages stronger confidence, teamwork, responsibility, and the sense of being part of a creative ensemble.

Senior Level (Ages 12-18)

At the Senior level, students take on more advanced theatrical challenges: full-scale productions, sophisticated techniques in acting, voice, movement, stage-craft and production roles. Seniors deepen their understanding of character arc, theme, story structure, rehearsal discipline and live performance. This level supports those aiming to refine their craft, take leadership roles, or prepare for theatre, film or musical theatre pathways.
